Biography: Jianzhong Lin is a professor in the department of mechanics at Zhejiang University, China. He received his PhD degree from Peking University in 1991. His scientific interests are multiphase fluid flows, nanofluids, micro fluid dynamics, turbulence and fluid machinery. His works were funded by more than 40 research projects, including National Natural Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scientists, Key Project of the National Science Foundation of China. So far he has published more than 600 academic papers and won more than ten science and technology awards. He was the associate editor of International Journal of Multiphase flow, and is currently serving as the chief editor of Mechanics in Engineering, associate editor of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, associate editor of Journal of Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Engineering, and editorial board members of more than ten academic journals. He is now the vice president of China Metrology and testing society, and member of council of the Chinese society of mechanics.

Biography: Dr. Zafar Said is as an Associate Professor with the Department of Sustainable Renewable Energy Engineering, University of Sharjah. He works in the field of Renewable Energy, Solar Energy, Heat Transfer, and Nanofluids. He has published over 170+ papers as per Scopus, including one in Progress in Energy and Combustion (IF: 29.34), One in Physics Reports (IF: 25.6), One in Nano Energy (IF: 17.881), 6 in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (IF: 14.98), 2 books/book chapters, 25 conference papers), with about 6375+ citations and an H-index of 45. He is also ranked in World's Top 2% Scientists 2021 and 2020 by Elsevier BV and Stanford University) in the field of Energy. He is ranked in top 100 scientists in the United Arab Emirates, as per adscientificindex:(https://lnkd.in/eJ2QTB2e). He secured more than 2 million AED in research grants. He was honored with several prestigious awards, including Sharjah Islamic Bank Award for Distinguished Researchers (2017-2018), Faculty Annual Incentive Research Award for 2018-2019, and Faculty Annual Incentive Research Award for University and Community Service 2020-2021. Dr. Zafar is also serving as the Editorial Board Member for several ISI Journals and also serving as a guest editor for several special issues.

Dr. Muhammed A. Hassan, Cairo University, Egypt |
Biography: Dr. Muhammed A. Hassan is an assistant professor of Mechanical Power Engineering at Cairo University, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. degree and the best Ph.D. thesis award in 2018, followed by Fulbright’s visiting scholar grant, hosted by Texas A&M University. He also served as a visiting lecturer or researcher at different Egyptian universities such as Zewail City of Science and Technology and the German University in Egypt. Dr. Hassan is leading the Sustainable Energy Research Group (SERG) at Cairo University, with 50+ current and alumni graduate and undergraduate students. His research is mostly focused on sustainable energy systems and resources. In particular, he is interested in the assessment, modeling, and forecasting of solar radiation, wind speeds, photovoltaic/wind power generation, and wind turbine failures; optical and thermal enhancement of solar thermal concentrators; thermal management using nanofluids; compact heat exchangers; building-integrated solar energy systems; model-based control of HVAC systems; and poly-generation solar energy systems. He holds around 35 indexed journal articles and 10 peer-reviewed articles in international conferences, and he is a distinguished reviewer for 30+ international journals. Dr. Hassan is an expert and consultant on renewable energy and energy efficiency. He participated in and coordinated several funded research projects, especially focusing on concentrating solar power and high-performance buildings. He is also a member of several international associations such as the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) and the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET).
